About the Founder

I have always had a passion for organizing and have found being organized is beneficial in my day-to-day life. Before I was a professional organizer, I was a police officer in the Twin Cities for 18 years. Being a police officer taught me the importance of resiliency, effective communication, and being flexible when things don’t go as planned. These skills are now something that are helping me to be a successful professional organizer. In my free time I enjoy taking my dogs on hikes, playing volleyball, and traveling. I am excited to meet you and get started on your project, no matter how big or small it may be.

About the Company

The goal at Sensible Spaces is to create organized spaces that will simplify your life! Life can get chaotic and the to do lists can become daunting. That’s where Sensible Spaces come in. I am here to help reduce your stress by working with you to complete those projects. I know inviting a stranger into your home to go through all your personal items can be extremely stressful. Rest assured there is no judgement in how your space looks or what items you choose to keep or discard. Photography worthy pantries and closets are appealing to look at, but they may not be practical for your lifestyle. I aim to simplify and streamline projects, to create a functional space.
Clients can choose to be as actively involved in the process as they want to be. Items can be donated, furniture may get moved, storage systems might be utilized, and existing spaces could be repurposed, however, nothing will be done without the client’s approval. No matter how big or small the job is, the end result will always be the same…. a happy client with a functional space and one less thing to tackle on their to do list.
Sensible Spaces seeks to foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all people regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, or life circumstances. All are welcome!
